Why Choose OJA's Early Childhood Education?
Preparing Students for a Bright Future
Multi-sensory Learning
At Orlando Junior Academy, students are encouraged to explore and build solid educational foundations and practical skills. Our inquiry approach sparks discovery, fuels creativity, and hones essential problem-solving skills, instilling a lifelong love for learning.
Donuts with Dad
We believe in creating a strong, supportive community that extends beyond the classroom. Engaging with parents is a key part of our approach to education, and we offer special events designed to strengthen the bond between school and home. "Donuts with Dad" offers fathers a fun and interactive way to engage with their children while enjoying a sweet treat together. These events help foster a welcoming environment where parents feel valued and involved, contributing to the overall success and well-being of our students.
Tea With Mom
Events like "Tea with Mom" provide unique opportunities for parents to connect with their children in a relaxed, enjoyable setting. These gatherings not only celebrate the important role parents play in their child's education but also allow them to build relationships with other families and our dedicated staff. Through "Tea with Mom," mothers and their children share quality time over a comforting cup of tea, creating lasting memories and a deeper connection to the school community.
Field Trips Relevant to Learning
At Orlando Junior Academy, we believe that learning extends beyond the classroom walls, which is why we carefully align field trips with the lessons being taught. These real-world experiences enhance students' understanding and make learning more tangible and memorable. For example, when studying wildlife and ecosystems, students may visit the zoo or SeaWorld to observe animals in their habitats, bringing textbook concepts to life. These field trips not only reinforce what is learned in class but also inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a deeper appreciation for the natural world.
